　　答案解析如下：

　　(A)She was less successful after she had emigrated to New York compared to

　　【错误1】 比较结构：“compared to ”比较的是“New York”和“her native Germany”，两者虽然可比，但本句的本意并不是比较这两个地点，而是比较两个地点上“Lotte Jacobi”的成功程度。

　　【错误2】 动词时态：表示“过去的过去”的过去完成时动词“had emigrated”确实发生在一般过去时的“was less successful”之前，但实际上“after已经体现了两者的时间先后关系，无需再使用过去完成时。

　　(B)Being less successful after she had emigrated to New York as compared to
